Join my Female Runner Research Study

Start Date: March 22
Duration: 10 weeks

Are you a female runner?

Help contribute to research on women’s training and injury while joining a 10-week training program.

Hi guys, it’s Bex! My goal over the next few months while I finish my graduate degree is to examine the relationship between menstrual cycle day and lower limb pain in female runners.

What you get if you sign up:

Access to a 3-day/week strength program designed specifically for runners, built to support injury resilience, improve running mechanics, and complement your current training.

❋ Strength Program for Running

You will self-select your running schedule (2x/week minimum), while receiving guidance on progressions, recovery, and general training decisions to help keep your running sustainable throughout the study.

❋ Running Support and Guidance

By participating, you help address the significant gap in female sports science research by contributing real, day-to-day data that may improve understanding of women’s training, health, and injury patterns.

❋ A Chance to Contribute to Research

• Female
• Age 20-35
• Run at least 2x’s / week
• Currently menstruating naturally
• Not pregnant

Study Start: March 22
Duration: 10 weeks

Study Timeline:

Once you sign up to my app, just sit and wait! More information will be given in the next week. We will not start the program until the week of March 22.

What you Will Provide

Participation is very simple and takes about 1 minute per day.

An example of your daily log:

• Cycle day
• Any lower-limb pain (foot, ankle, knee, hip, hamstring, calf, etc.)
• Whether you ran that day
• If so, how much did you run

That's it.

The study lasts 10 weeks.

Participants should complete at least 75% of daily logs to be included in the final research data.

Access to the study is through my training app ($24.99/month), which includes the strength program, coaching support, and the runner community during the 10 weeks. This means participants receive a full training experience while also helping contribute to important research on female runners.
